Objectives

The Alcatel-Lucent Alliance and Application Partner Program (AAPP) has three main objectives corresponding to the three membership levels of the program:

• Provide easy interfacing with Alcatel-Lucent communication products (Open Developer)
  To ensure easy integration, the AAPP provides a full array of standards-based application programming interfaces (APIs) and networking interfaces. Together, these enable third-party applications to benefit fully from the potential of Alcatel-Lucent products.

• Test and verify a comprehensive range of third-party applications (Member)
  To ensure proper interworking, Alcatel-Lucent formally verifies selected third-party applications through a certification process that guarantee the interworking between its platforms and the certified application.

• Promote joint solutions (Partner)
  The AAPP helps Partners promote their applications with Alcatel-Lucent's customers and business partners through a wide range of co-marketing initiatives.
